A fine and sunny morning. It really hasn't been too bad in the last few days as the fair weather summer continues but the only thing that let the side down was a fresh keen south west wind. While it made for excellent air quality and fast line washing drying, the disadvantage is that it made it difficult to want to sit outside for too long at my exposed coastal-facing front garden.

Well according to our local forecast we should have "a good deal of sunshine and temps up to a whopping 19C" but looking outside just dull low cloud all around and the outside temperature is a measly 15.3C, not bad for the so called warmest time of year.

Seems odd saying this but we hit 24C for the first time in a long while today.

Should really be happening at least twice a week in July & August - however it's not happened for 2-3 weeks now.

Revoltingly overcast, grey and depressing just like it's been all week as this catastrophe of a summer rolls on dishing out crap relentlessly. 

Absolutely sick to death of enduring this while the rest of the Northern Hemisphere enjoys summer. We can't even manage one decent dry, sunny day
