Hope you greeted the same good weather as 00z models runs, it was good timing you weren't here during the last week it was completely like in Beijing climate and haven't seen the real sun since last week Sunday.

After what has been a bright start to the morning, it didn't take long for the obligatory convective stratsocumulus infill stuff to take over the sky. Just have to hope some of it does burn away as we go into the afternoon, rather than continue to thicken up like it did yesterday.

Low  this morning 8.8c.  At 05:47.  Not as low as August 2013 which was 8.2c.  Now 20.7c. Mainly cloudy. 

For the umpteenth time in this dire summer a lovely clear sunny start has given way to disgusting grey overcast 

Temperature struggled to only 17.0C in the sunshine. Now down to a pitiful 14.4C. Absolutely awful 

6.5C this morning is the lowest since early June. Brr. That's only the lowest August temperature since 2012 though when it fell to 3.9C.

Now mostly cloudy but some breaks, 18.7C.
