For the first time in days the sun appears to be making an effort to shine.

Dry and bright with some sunshine once the initial murk and haze cleared away, also feeling warm and muggy since winds has fallen calm.

Summer proper is making a return here with strong late afternoon sunshine and only broken cloud keeping temperatures still at 24.7 C. Also feeling quite close.

A shame that in 56 hours time, I may have to be dealing with gale force winds if some of the model outputs are to be believed.
