Sunny intervals, 20.4C.


Starting to think we will stay dry this week bar a few showers. Rain looks like it will stay down south. Looks like most days will still exceed 20C as well so really not the autumnal washout I was expecting! A pleasant end to what has been, in this part of the world, a pleasant month.

Quite simply the vilest August day in my memory which really is saying something after the past decade.


Appalling levels of light never before seen outside the gloomiest of autumn and winter days and a despicable diurnal range of just 0.6C since midnight. Stuck on 14C all day with fog, rain and drizzle totalling only 4mm.
