Ended up with 28.5 mm since 12 am, it's all quite soggy now but the shower activity over Kent is now generally decaying apart from a couple of "cold" cells.

You know that bit in "Forrest Gump" when Gump was at Vietnam and he complained about having experienced every kind of rain? Bitty stingy rain, warm rain, cold rain, rain that went horizontal and even rain that went back up? well, that's Folkestone in the past week. Hope we don't go onto having a wetter than average Autumn!

I'll do a tot up of rainfall amounts for so far this September later on, but it has to be easily exceeding 60 mm by now.

But only 24.5mm so far all month and with not much expected here over the next week, looks like being overall rather dry.
