Bit yukky so far today with low cloud and near constant drizzle - and the main rain band is still yet to arrive here this afternoon.

9.9 mm had fallen since my station reset at 11 pm last night.

Groundhog day hell continues. Beyond ridiculous with another double digit min and barely getting any warmer during the day under the soul destroying unrelenting overcast and excruciating drizzle. 12.3C at the moment - less than 2C higher than the min

No other parts of the East Coast are being plagued by this vile muck day in day out. Edinburgh and Boulmer, which should both have the same weather as here, are managing normal sunshine levels - almost twice the Faeroe Islands levels we are being subjected to.

Yet again it is just here where a never ending stream of permacast has set up that won't budge because the wind won't move to anything other than SE. Even when any clear slots form they never make it to land just fill up with more filth. Can barely stay awake because this crap is sucking all the life out of me

Rain was absolutely torrential for a few hours and especially on my drive home at 5.30. Roads were flooded, it was dark and driving conditions were atrocious. I appreciate its not everyone's cup of tea, but I love active weather like this 😀☔️

It had stopped raining at about 3 pm and we even had some bright spells since then. However, I'm still experiencing this annoyingly strong southerly wind but it is helping with the drying up process.

16.6 C with 89% humidity.

All in all, 12.9 mm had fallen today, most of it in the form of persistent drizzle.
