Another splendidly fine morning and even that easterly breeze appears to be easing off.
We were hard pressed to get this type of long lasting synoptic set up in high summer, now it's occurring in mid-Autumn . . . but then again, the SSTs around the Kent coast are still quite warm right now, whereas we'd probably have persistent low cloud and haar rolling in from the North Sea had we had this set up in early Summer when the SSTs are quite cold.
