A good drying day on the tops!  I calculate a relative humidity of just 4-5% was reached overnight.

Considering it was foggy until 10am, it was surprising humidity dropped to 52% late morning here.
The visibility is outstandingly good - quite unusual with wind from SSW

I don't know, that sort of DP could actually be very irritating to the skin and lips in particular. I imagine it would actually feel pretty unpleasant.

I'm glad you've pointed that out.  Having spent some time in Mendoza Argentina and Santiago Chile, the atmosphere this morning was uncannily redolent of a cool winter morning in those places.  The key to the feel?  That low humidity.  What a fabulous spell of weather.

We had RH that low in Turkey on a number of days this summer and it actually felt rather pleasant (due to the high temperatures). I agree that with strong winds it could be very drying but by itself I cannot image it being too problematic unless you are normal affected by very dry conditions.
