Nice to have some less humid air here! Temp. now at 10.5 C with the humidity 'down' to 78% !! The lawn has grown some 2 inches in the last fortnight !! Glad I managed to get it cut this month!! We've not had much rain here in recent days - thanks in part to the Welsh Mountain rain-shadow.

Pleasant, spring-like at lunchtime, with feeding-flocks twittering in the willows, and the max stretched to 13.0C; then all change.

Homogenous steely-grey skies spat out a summer shower event, prodigiously heavy rain splattering in steam-puffs off the pavements, singing in the downpipes and sending out-of-time flower petals sailing along the gutters.
