Yep. Sleet here in Durham too. Occasional flake. Miserable. We haven't had proper daylight for ages!

First sight of the sun in 2016 this morning though clouding over now. Also first air frost of 2016 earlier around -2C with temps now hovering just above zero.

Turning out to be a lovely day so far with nearly unbroken sunshine and only patchy cloud. The sun felt warm on the face when I popped out to get the papers. 9.7 C.

What went wrong?!  However, normal service will resume tomorrow with more rain and strong southerly wind.
