Rain again, a dark brooding sky with ragged patches racing North. Still 10C and miserable, turning the cosy cottage into Bleak House.

One or two spots of rain, dare i say it is quite mild, temp is 7.8c, more persistent rain on the way looking at the radar.

max 8 deg c today with bright weather at midday interspersed with some heavy downpours, with a longer spell of dark and rainy weather in the last hour ..

Max was 9.4 at 11:18.   Now 7.6c. In the rain  Temperature in the shed is 7.1c. . Patio corner is 7.1c. Meanwhile inside it is a cheerie 22c.

Going by the radars, the Folkestone Rain Deflector seems to be back up and running again. As soon as the squall line that gave most of Southern England a good soaking earlier on today touches the Shepway Area, it is fizzling out leaving us with spitty rain blowing about in the wind. Has no effect on this strong southerly gale, though.

It's been chucking it down tonight. I imagine the river Mole will burst its banks again tomorrow, which will be the 3rd time this week! It's certainly been wet around these parts, more than wet enough....I can't imagine what it's been like in the flooded areas where the amount of rain they have had makes it look like a drought down here. Hope it dries out for all soon.
