Very wet, very windy, very miserable, oh yeah and mild. just another normal looking day by the looks.

11.5mm of rain today so far and that's going to keep rising by the looks of things.

Temp nearly into double figures at 9.9C.

Pressure 994.7mb and falling.

Wind SW and quite strong and very depressing, I hate these bloody continual windy conditions.

Rather cloudy and on the windy side but the Kent Rain Deflector is working at the moment as it is still dry.

11.1 C but the strong south west wind is making it feel cool and fresh.

Embedded in the rain band across the SW are some fairly definitive narrow bands resembling line segments. As well as enhanced rainfall these features have a tendency to locally deliver amplified wind gusts above the background noise.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear of local damage caused by brief SLW gusts in excess of 70mph across Devon this afternoon.
