Poor radar precipitation chart by the BBC - shows Exeter (SW) under heavy precipitation until 3pm - it's partly sunny and clear now after a brief shower of hail at 9am

Sunny with passing clouds - very windy - temperature dropped 5c to +4c in the hail shower earlier and now risen back up to +9c in the space of half an hour. Quite a leap I say of some 5.0c. Crazy.

That band of weather sure packed a punch to it when it arrived! Dark skies, strong gusty winds, a flash of lightning, heavy rain, hail and even snow mixed in too.

Not quite current weather but at mid-day the sky went darker and darker there were flashes of lightening and thunder followed by half an hour of heavy hail then snow, everything white over even though the ground was very wet underneath, the only covering of snow this winter, sorry...Spring...! soon melted after the snow petered out but a nice surprise indeed...trying to work out how to upload pics to show conditions...
