During the winter for my location the met office has generally been very accurate on the max temps. However during the last week to ten days it's accuracy seems to have gone. Over the last 2 days the high for here is actually +2c above their forecast. For today it was forecast a high of 5c by this afternoon but it has reached that already even under grey and rain laden skies. It all appears to have gone pear shaped since the brief north easterly 10 days ago. Have the Met Office not factored in the current warmer than average North Sea temperature? Is this just a local problem for me or has anyone else noticed this?

Can only use the forecast as a guide. My local forecast is never spot on. Other forecasts also differ so it is not only Met Office...
