I was checking my screen resolution settings and thought I'd use the NW radar loop, thinking there would be some ppn graphics 😊

Remarkably the whole of the UK is dry this morning:

Close but no cigar

Problem is this anticyclone is not completely clean, high humidity is going to cause low cloud to move in off the north sea with associated drizzle.

I imagine its pretty difficult to get a completely blank radar in the winter, in the summer anticyclones are more likely to be 'clean'.

Or it could be anaprop, Q?

But it has been a while since I've seen a completely rain-free radar over the entire country. What's the betting that we'll never get to see that at any one day during the whole of this coming summer?

Plenty of chances for a totally dry UK this week but low cloud off the N. Sea may be a pain.

Largely dry is, however, fine by me!
