No, not another UIA thread. It's that time of year again, and stepping out of the house this morning I was greeted by a familiar smell of manure and pig farms. Nothing says Spring like a good old pongy Easterly from Denmark.

It seems to happen pretty much every year in the South East. The conditions are a light easterly, dry settled weather, overcast skies, and it usually hits in the morning. The smell has lifted a bit now but I expect it to come back tomorrow and mid week given the synoptics.

Anyone else noticed it this morning?

Had pig manure odour every where last week. Sickly and nowhere to hide from it . 

I thought at first it was a gas leak, then remembered we had an easterly flow. The whole of Sheppey stank this morning, but it didn't make it that far inland.
