2.5c and cold for end of April.

Surprised to see a mixture of a rain and sleety soft hail shower earlier around lunchtime for 10-15 minutes. It was 12c and the temperature dropped to +7c under the light wintry shower (all within 20 minutes - Perhaps the most wintry precipitation Exeter managed to see during the daytime so far this year. - But would have been nicer if this occured back in winter.

Monday morning Princetown had a light covering of snow! Just crazy!!

Fine and sunny, although a few solar-powered cumulus are already starting to appear but I am expecting a dry shower-free day today before turning rather moist tonight.

Still that pinch in the air at 5 C, but as Gusty had already mentioned, we appear to have avoided a frost this morning at this end.

It's started snowing steadily here, after a slight frost preserved a little lying snow from last night. So far this week we've had snow showers, mostly in granular form, every day.

Wind is in the SSW so hard to see how it's so chilly when it's nearly May.

What a gorgeous sunny and dry afternoon it is turning out to be . . . but that keen south west breeze is making the current 11 C feel quite cold and fresh. However, that said wind is helping to push the land-based solar powered cumulus inland hence the clear skies overhead and is being perfect for airing the house out as I leave a couple of windows ajar.

Humidity being a drying 46%.

A sprinkling of snow last night that stayed till morning due to clear skies and frost but once the sun came up it thawed quickly and we had a pleasant morning.  Rain this afternoon and dry by evening but just had a sudden squally spell.   Temp 3.4c
