First 23°C of the season- and the sun's not at its highest yet. A bit of a.castellanus in the NE and some other unstable stuff to the S but plentyof blue holes still.

Amazing temperature differences down here in the coastal concrete jungle..

In the north of town it's dancing around 22C mark now but less then 3 miles away its 17-18C..

5C difference in 3 miles is quite notable.

10.4°C, overcast.

One of "those days" up here. Every year we get a few days where it's mid 20s in the rest of the country and struggling into double digits here as the cloud is blown in from the sea.

Never got above 9.9C today with fog back again now at 8.3C - it actually feels 'mild' though with quite light wind.

Peaked at 24C but felt warmer. The high cloud seems to be clearing from the South setting up an even warmer and sunnier Sunday.

High of 17.3c today cooler than yesterday despite more sunshine due to the cool breeze and subtle influence of the north sea.

High achieved today was 23.0 at 1419hrs.  Currently 15.6.  The critical factor here was the wind moving S of E to an ESE despite only hazy sun at best til evening..  If we get sunshine and a direct SEly then 25c could be reached at this station tomorrow.

Dover, 5m asl. Half a mile from the south coast.
