Very wet!

Perfect weather for a snail 🐌

At 15C  with a dew point just shy of 15C the humidity is near 100% making it feel very close in the calm winds.

Very wet since 5.a.m. I thought we were supposed to have this sort of rain yesterday  which turned out to be only showery

A shame that the fog is very slowly lifting (at least here at sea level) as it was doing an excellent job of hiding the unsightly looking ASDA building when viewed from my famed west-facing hobby room.

14.7 C and 93% humidity under calm air. My gauge reads 0.0 mm, which indicates very little rain had fallen since my station reset at 11 pm last night (17.7 mm fell yesterday).

Update: Just as the fog was showing signs of thinning, it's thickened up again with the ADSA building totally obscured.

Lots of surface water flooding on the roads this morning. 27mm in the 12 hours to 06Z at Farnborough, 20mm of that after midnight (which coincided with me cycling/swimming home...)

Bright, but in a cloudy hazy kind of way - a bit like being inside a large photography studio with all the diffused lighting.

Also feeling close and muggy even though it's "only" 17.6 C and 77% humidity under calm wind.

Cloudy, 17.5C, earlier high of 19.1C during sunny spells. Temperature fell because of a short, sharp shower.

Feels humid - but in a pleasant, 'enveloped in a warm blanket' kind of way, as opposed to a 'I'm suffocating' kind of way. High humidity is nice at mild temps.

Despite a 4th day of sunshine it only reached 15 C here again with the 4th day of chilly East winds. So towards the end of the current UK warm spell and my highest temperature is still only 16 C. The low cloud is back in from the sea as is usual in the evening
