Been back on the ward for a while now, but not feeling too good. Tired, sore, and could be sick at any minute. This apparently is quite normal, and will get worse before it gets better over the next couple of days.

Forgive me but I will leave it there, tomorrow is another day.

Hang on in there.  Getting worse before better isn't so bad when there's light at the end of the tunnel.  You've had it done now so stay positive about your chances of a better quality of life.  I won't mention food because that might make you feel even more sick!   Oops!

Yes, tomorrow is another day.  The first day of the rest of your life.

Big hugs and a hand for the chin!  X

If you have any decent pain killers to spare give me a PM and we can sort something out.
Hope you are ok, Dougie.

Still sending hopes down the magic E-waves to you Dougie. Thought I'd shift off the PMs and join the crowd again- lovely to see so many still wishing you the best. Sorry if today's been a no-so-good day.

I hope tomorrow is the start of a better period Dougie. It may take a few days but hopefully each day will be a bit better than the previous one.

Still holding your chin up Dougie.  The 'worse before it gets better' thing is always harder during the worst bit.  So just give it time.  You'll come through.  I have faith in you.

Sending hugs and positive thoughts.  Xx.

Thanks for all the messages and the encouragement, it does help. I don't really feel any better as yet, so hopefully tomorrow will see some improvement. Thanks again.

Morning Dougie.  It might take a couple more days but you'll do it.  Just hang on in there and look forward to being able to feel the benefit.  It took my mum three days to start feeling normal after her stent and then it was improvements from thereon and it worked perfectly.

You'll get there!   X

I have lost my nice quiet single room this morning and am now in a bay with 3 others, they seem ok, but first impressions can be so wrong. I will try and post again  later today, when my brain finally wakes up.

Again, thanks for all the encouragement.

Anyway in most hospitals these days, visiting times are all day, every day.

Yes I have headphones, and use them quite extensively, even for the TV. Gone are the days when they limit the number of visitors. Spread amongst the other three room mates are 13 visitors right now - very noisy.
