Ah ha! The red one looks to me like it could be a favourite of mine - the Raywood or claret ash tree (from Australia I think).  It can be spectacular, if only for a day or two, as the colours vary with depth into the canopy.


As to autumn colour in general, well, its been spectacular here. I suspect the hard frost local valleys have seen has helped. Oak showing yellow, as opposed to the usual browns, and various reads and yellows in hazels and field maple. Non native acers have been amazing too.

Although it's now closed to the public, the wolves remain at the wolf centre. Here's Mosi this afternoon - the foliage is wonderful at the moment!
