At least one supermarket (Sainsbury?) have been running TV adverts for at least the past 2 weeks saying that only one adult should shop.

Although I would hope most adults with an IQ above 45 would not need telling this.

Unless you have a car it makes no sense in terms of the goal of minimising virus spread. If a couple have to make 2 separate journeys to carry the stuff home, how does that help? Also if you live in a rough area, you wouldn't want your wife or girlfriend to be out alone
