I'm surprised it's ended up that high, given the cold start. It really hasn't felt like that mild of a month with all the wind and rain. I've certainly experienced winter months that have felt milder than this with much lower CETs.

Astonishingly we are looking at an annual CET of 11.07c/11.10, if December comes in at 7c or above.
The second time in the CET series and second year in a row if it comes off and this year without the extreme heat as in 2022,albeit September and June both had noteable heatwaves.
Is this the new benchmark for the CET in future years?

I'm surprised it's ended up that high, given the cold start. It really hasn't felt like that mild of a month with all the wind and rain. I've certainly experienced winter months that have felt milder than this with much lower CETs.
