A rather strenuous New Year's Eve walk along the coast while the Army had opened the Lulworth Ranges for walking, as they do every Christmas/New Year. A wind warning was in force for the area - you'd better believe it!
Looking west from Flowers Barrow to Bindon Hill, and, yes, the path does go straight UP the hill on the other side.

Nice wave pattern, but the waves were submerging the beach at the foot of the cliff below - which is part of the SW Coast Path!
To show that it did actually rain
I finished up by taking a walk round Tyneham. The villagers were expelled at 48 hours notice in 1943 in aid of D-day training with a promise that they would return - but they were never allowed to. Good exhibition in the church when the ranges are open.
