20 upstairs, just 15.5 downstairs - remarkable for September. The heating would have come on had the thermostat not been in its summer mode!

Went down to 19 living room 18.6 bed 2 18.5 my bedroom and 4.7 in Conservatory now rising fast to 18.1 and now 20.3 living room.  Very sunny outside despite apps insisting overcast clouds now to all day.  Will possible reach 30 and free up warm up house today.

First time to see wall to wall unshine here since January.  Was 27.7C living room , 34.9C conservatory (min 9.8C)  25.7C bedroom 2 and my room 22.3C  Possible farewell to 38-40C by Thursday when outside expect to rise to 24C then not seen until next year.  Now seeing 34.9C on this date mean in from early March to see 30's again so heating will goes off much earlier and perhaps few times in March before off for good by April.

Warm here too, 25C upstairs means the portable a/c gets wheeled out again. Amazing to think only a couple of days ago it was cold enough for the heating to have come on (had the thermostat not been in summer mode!)

Maxes was 28.3C living room, 35.4C and 8.8C in the convservatory, 25 hall way, 26 bed 2 and 22.5 my bedroom.  Lovely and warm now 24C.

We've managed to get temperatures to recover downstairs. After dropping to just above 17C last weekend, we are now back up to 19.1C. Hopefully we can get it close to 20C over the next couple of days before it falls away again through next week.

It's 20c both upstairs and down here, this house seems to be pretty good at retaining warmth, for a detached, especially compared to our previous home which was a semi.

26 up, 22 down - summer lingers on, and we've lost the breeze for good measure too.
The see-sawing over the last week or so has been mighty impressive TBH.

Glad it's not just me that's fed up with the high dewpoints! They've been hovering between 16 and 20 since Tuesday morning and I find it draining, oppressive - it saps energy, probably as sleeping is less comfortable.

Only another couple of days to go, though, then fresher air returns. And by this time next week, GFS has dewpoints of just 2C here - from one extreme to the other!

...and no surprise I'm now back to being zombiefied due to lack of sleep... I detest summer humidity and the past few days have had it in force. I did put the portable a/c on last night, which got my room down to 18C (with an 8C dewpoint) - lovely. I turned it off as I went to bed and woke up a couple of hours later sweating buckets, as the heat and humidity from the other rooms had infiltrated my room again.

It's now 23 upstairs and 20 downstairs, with that typical summer stale humid feel to things.

The change to fresher conditions can't come soon enough for me!

Despite the overcast conditions with rain over the last 24 hours, the indoor temperature has actually nudged up. 20.6C downstairs this morning. I think it's the warm nights that is impacting this. The last 4 overnight minima have been around 14 or 15C.

Room temps staying at 20-21C as conservatory closed for 2 days as it not reached 20 but was 34.3C on Saturday.  Once ths northerly blast come and with latest ensembles extend the duration mean more sunny dry days to come and indoor temps will rise again to low 20's and back to the low 30's but cooler at night at single digits.

Gusty winds over the past couple of days and limited sun have meant it's cooled down markedly indoors - presently 17 up and 16.5 down - the latter reached 15, but the heating then came on for half an hour.

I turned the heating's summer mode off yesterday, and it's set to 16.5, the winter norm.

It's pretty unusual to have the heating come on in September, and even moreso considering how warm it was getting a week ago!

Yesterday was interesting day for temperature ranges in the consevatory with near full sun from 3.1C to 28.4C when outsde was -0.1C to  12C  I wonder if outside was 22C can get up to 38C or mre in October?

Since the zonality started now it gave lot of sunshine in between rain bands and made indoors much warmer then recent so no heating for 4 days and today conservatory hit 28C despite cloudy wet start, I am sure 30C is possible if was sunny all day just after mid October.  Indoors 21-23C in the room,  Now 20C and nice.
