That drop was way more severe than I'd expected. 

From 15.9c on the 11th to 14.5c by the 17th.

It wasn't even that cold!!

The nicer spell, which was initially modelled to last towards the end of the month has also been eroded to just a week or so, with a further chilly spell (although not as cold as models were suggesting a day or so ago)

I think a recovery to perhaps 15c, followed by another fall. I'd go at 14.8c for the final figure at this stage.

That last week hammered the CET; ended up being even colder than was being modelled when I posted this.

Went from 14.9c to 14.1c

You only normally see that kind of shift in a week earlier in the month when the data set is smaller.

Looks like the MetO results are in for September mean CET as 14.03C to 2dps

Closed on 11.5C (-1.1C here)
Rain main feature about double normal at 115mm and didn't count all of it due to gauge blockage.
