Dull, as usual, calm, as usual, a bit colder than recently. The only change is that the grey is a shade lighter this morning, with some distinct cloud shapes within - I'm hopeful the sun might make an appearance, briefly, later.

7.1, dew 4.6, the overnight low being 6.9. Yesterday's high was 9.4, the second day in a row of single figures!

10C so milder feel than yesterday and the easterly breeze replaced with light southerly airs. Notable drizzle.

Woke up at 8.30 am to hazy sunshine and blue skies, then went back to sleep and woke up again at 9.45 am to cloudy skies. Perhaps it was a dream but it felt so real. Although there is a subtle increase in light levels (not quite so gloomy and dull) as I type this. 10.1 C & mid 80% H.

Didn't last for very long, of course, and it's back to being cloudy now. 10.6, dew 6.9, which is the high so far.

Lovely, bright morning so far, fairly breezy too which is making it feel much cooler than 9.6c, 79% rh, in the garden.

Fair with hazy sunshine and varied high cloud amounts. "Warmer" than this time yesterday at 12.4 C but the mod N breeze and reduce humidity are what making it feel cool and fresh.

The view from next door's garden this morning. A shame the sun sets behind that built up hilly bit at about 1.45 pm at this time of the year.

Cold and clear with a brilliant starry sky this morning. 4.4°C here.

It would have been a great night for the aurora, had it been delayed by 24 hours or so.

A refreshing change in the weather - breezy, mostly clear skies, the sun shining down. It's a bit cooler than of late too, but couldn't be called cold.

Currently being pestered by frequent blustery showers here at Folkestone. What a waste of the perfect Kent Clipper set up under a north east airflow. If only it is late January or early February . . . it'd probably still be cold rain. 🤣
