Yeovilton is 17.3c atm, not sure if that counts as the record as its before 9am.

It's possible that you might have quoted a date record for your location but if it is, it will count as a date record for yesterday rather than today.
I easily be wrong with that of course but if I am, I'm sure that someone will correct me on that one.
As far as Edinburgh Gogarbank (to avoid repeating myself, I will say now that this is the station which I will be referring to from now on in this post) is concerned, this is when I would normally be reporting the overnight minimum temperature but it's not as simple as that this time because there was quite a big jump in the temperature last night of 9.8°C in the space of just an hour.
In the end, the temperature rose to a ridiculously mild (for this time of year) 14.9°C which is therefore yesterday's official maximum temperature.
Yesterday's official minimum temperature was actually 0.3°C and was recorded at 10am yesterday morning.
With that, all of the snow which was around has now completely disappeared even from the nearby hills which is quite remarkable given that there is usually always a lot more snow on the hills than what there is here.
Overnight rain has cleared away to give us a lot of cloud to start today although there are some breaks in that cloud as well.
It's also breezy but not nothing like as windy as it can be when one of these storms is around.
Meanwhile, the temperature here in Edinburgh has dropped back quite a bit over the last few hours, but only to around 8°C which isn't even the least bit cold any more.
Winter is over!!😡

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
