I hope you won't begrudge us southerners getting a little bit of snow now, then! All we've had at home this winter is a centimetre of slush last week. Last night's snow all failed to settle and this morning it was just really icy.
On my weekly journey to Leicester this morning, elevation was key. Everywhere above about 130m was white, everywhere below, not. The M40 between Junctions 4 and 5 was particularly snowy, there was also a bit of snow on the ground in the Silverstone area of Northamptonshire, and also around Watford Gap services on the M1. Nothing in Leicester.
