I see. But I go back to what I said at the beginning. Is the infection any worse than a normal bad flu? Most people who get it recover without a vaccine.

I’m not sure how antibiotics or antifungal treatments would help with a viral infection (unless it is used to treat a co-infection). As for antivirals, I’m not sure an effective one is available for is new coronavirus.

The majority will never be expose to it and others will have a degree of immunity from encountering similar bugs.

Bird flu is less contageous, and with China basically going into lock down this may well be enough to stop a 2nd pandemic.


What I'm saying is, if there had to be a time when H5N1 comes back, better for it to happen when everyone is on red alert.
