PS: Will you be writing to your MP to say the government should not be allowing Pakistan International Airlines to resume flights to the UK?

First family down on our street - apparently young kid and parents are all suffering. There about 60 houses on the street. There's a low possibility Mrs G and I have been exposed.
I think I have pestered her enough recently over the Chinese corona virus - others can take up the baton and write to their MPs about lack of port screening and border controls from infected areas.

Anecdotal I know but we live on the A435 - has been extremely quiet since the lockdown, but yesterday my wife remarked that there were many more cars on the road than there had been for a few days.
Another "clap" tomorrow evening? Just mentioned on news.
Hubby is a Highways England inspector and as a result he is out most days doing safety inspections. He commented yesterday that there are more cars on the road than at the beginning of the week.

569 new deaths in the UK6 more than they announced yesterday.

Really? I thought Mar 29 and Mar 30 both saw decreases?

The government of Hubei in central China has announced that 14 medical workers who lost their lives in the fight against Covid-19 will be included on a list of "martyrs".
Among them is Li Wenliang. He became internationally recognised for trying to alert colleagues in central Wuhan about the virus in late December, when the outbreak was just beginning.
He was handed a warning by police for "spreading rumours", and later died after contracting the virus. His treatment by the Chinese authorities sparked widespread public anger.
Many users of Chinese social media site Sina Weibo have written about the list, but there are signs that comments are being censored. Only a handful of comments can be viewed out of the hundreds that have been posted. Many of them feature candle emojis to commemorate the medics.
Big number obviously but a lot less than I thought we’d have.

Health Secretary to ramp up tests to 100,000 per day
QuoteHealth Secretary Matt Hancock is set to announce a major escalation in the UK's testing of coronavirus cases. He is set to announce a "five point plan" later this afternoon which aims to increase testing capacity to 100,000 per day. Mr Hancock said he will be "pressing the accelerator" on the UK's testing capacity - amid criticism over the slow pace of testing so far.

Personally I expect deaths to keep rising for another week
You're not serious are you? Here are the stats from the last week. I expected the number of deaths today to be lower than yesterday.
