Stunningly brilliant Horizon on BBC 2 tonight, just finished. A must watch to understand almost every aspect. Not all doom and gloom but realistic about the prospects ahead. The clear message from the Scientists is it is not a race against each other it is a world collaboration in a race to stop the virus.

The scientists are absolutely brilliant and working themselves into the ground. About time there was a clap for scientists in my opinion.

Fantastic news about the PM. My information was wrong but I am genuinely delighted and relieved that he is on the mend.

What a fantastic thing our NHS is. Its people and it as an institution. It and they saved my life - I will never forget it.

Sure, the NHS is not perfect but then no organisation, be it in the public or private sector is regardless of its size. No-one will ever hear me say a bad word about it, that's for sure.

Hope certain people watched Newsnight tonight. Backed up what I said earlier about non Covid deaths going up

Emergency care of course is available but people are reluctant to go to hospital for strokes and heart attacks and will ignore possibly cancerous lumps
