Very much agree, xioni. It seems to me that care of the most vulnerable is a barometer of our civilized values. Granted we need to prioritise the carers themselves and NHS and related services and functions, but caring more transparently for the old and infirm might have also taught us lessons in dealing with CO-19 that could benefit us all. IMO a spotlight needs to be shone on the state of "caring" in the UK.

Completely agree, some of the stories coming out of care homes are horrific. It's an absolute scandal.

I agree, not just in classrooms, but also playgrounds, corridors, canteens etc.

Weekend figures are always subject to delayed counting but it's very likely we'll reach 20,000 deaths, excluding care home and community, within the next 5 days. So what has gone wrong?

Maybe simply not quite as good an outcome as his initial educated guess (which is really all it could have been)?

This is my worry with the home testing. If they’re as invasive as this (the UK drive through one i saw on tv fits your description (going so far up the nose, they’re almost sampling brain tissue!), I can’t see the typical home using performing these properly which will probably result in many false negative tests. 

You can imagine 10 - 12 players having a brawl foaming at the mouth , recipe for a disaster

Wizz Air plans to resume flights out of Vienna on May 1 - APA

VIENNA (Reuters) - European low-cost airline Wizz Air (WIZZ.L) plans to resume flights out of Vienna from May 1, Deputy Chief Executive Stephen Jones said in comments reported by Austrian news agency APA on Friday.

Jones told reporters the airline intended to offer connections to 20 destinations including Milan, Valencia and Tel Aviv despite widespread travel restrictions introduced because of the coronavirus pandemic, APA reported.
