If we rewind to how this saga began, GtW merely disputed your claim that if lockdown procedures had been followed we'd by now be 'virtually back to normal'.You could have saved yourself and GtW time and energy by just clarifying that saying 'virtually back to normal' was an error on your part, but instead you initially denied saying it (it was there in black and white!) then claiming you were correct in some context you'd concocted inside your your head.

The Hospital Deaths for the four nations don't correspond with the total UK deaths announced each day, because the totals are taken at different intervals. So today we apparently have more hospital deaths than the deaths in all settings, that's just because of interval differences. These discrepancies will work in both directions and don't need analysis.

I never denied saying it, I merely said it was not intended to mean back to normal in the pre COVID sense.

Perhaps it was misleading, perhaps the terminology was wrong. Fine, I'll happily admit that. But after explicitly clarifying exactly what the position is multiple times, GTW still insists that I meant something else. So what, I lied about my own position now?

Its ridiculous, its clearly an attempt to score a gotcha point.
