We've got RyanAir flights booked for a long weekend in early July, staying with friends at their villa in Mercia. Trouble is, the friends are still here in the UK (they tend to do a few months here, few months there, etc) after having their travel cancelled at the end of April. They're only planning to go in September now.
I assumed I'd just cancel or re-arrange, but that greedy, grabbing scumbag O'Leary has announced RyanAir flights will be restarting early July. Given their [illegal] withholding of fares for flights they've not fulfilled, I think the chances of being able to cancel and get my cash back is zilch, and if I want to rearrange no doubt prices will have spiked for alternative dates and I'll have to pay a hefty surcharge. I only used them because they're they only ones flying to & from Murcia International on the days we wanted.
Knew I'd regret it.
I'm acutely aware of that!
