32C now here. 8C left to 40C, my app show 40C in Nuneaton so I screen shot it.
Interesting. The Metoffice temp chart (updated at 11) shows areas to the west of London edging ahead @31 deg (Benson, Odium).
I also notice that the sporadic areas of rain, previously to the West of the IOW, are becoming more organized and drifting eastwards a bit. Sea breeze front in the making ?
32.5 here at 11:00am
32C here now.
South Cambridgeshire.
11am BST:Writtle 32.3St James's Park 32.1Kew Gardens 32.12019 at the same time:Heathrow 33.1CNortholt 32.4CSt James's Park 32.4C
So we are a touch lower so far, but 2019 had cloud issues in the afternoon.
30.6C here now
11:15am and 29.7C here in Guernsey, Jersey up to 31.5C.....
MetO forecast for Evesham at 11am was 27c. Actual figures are 30.4c at nearby Winchcombe and 29.8c at Pershore. So that's well up on forecast here.
28.3c which, while not as eye catching as many other areas, is still amazing for our coastal location.
Edit: just found out that Swansea holds the Welsh record for the warmest night at 22.2 in 1948 and this might be beaten tonight.
31c here!
A hot run awaits/
This must be turning into a good year for the vines is it not Tim?

Am actually a tad worried about the vines as they are not irrigated and the ground is very dry now. First year vines can be quite vulnerable to drought.
31.3 here in Jersey.. The record is on but it will need to pick up the pace I feel... Its very difficult for us to get beyond the low 30's due to our proximity to the sea. This is where you guys on the mainland will really start to leave us behind.
33.3c here in the Ouse Valley, Cambridgeshire.
The rapid rise has now stopped and the temperature is fluctuating around 30C

I remember I was in Guernsey when the July record there was set in 2016 but it just missed out on the all-time.
You will be picking up a direct feed from extremely hot places in Normandy and Brittany to the South though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Jersey really rocket this afternoon. Only around 33C on the French coast now but will be closer to 40C later.
