Exactly this!

I suppose at my ripe old age I should be aware that nuance in an internet forum is always lost!

BTW I love the fact that Jiries is doing the opposite to others and actively heating his house!

36.9c here now, not bad for rural Berkshire on top of a hill.

Thankfully only 25c in the house.

Have you taken your suit and tie off yet Jiries?

Mentioning greenhouses, I have managed to restrict mine to 42.5 with regular damping down, and shade netting. Considering its 40c outside I'm quite happy with that. Just given the Toms another drink despite a good watering at 9am.

"Winter is coming"

Well, not 'winter', but certainly cooler temps as the cooler air moves NE'wards.

Hawarden on the Wales/Cheshire border has fallen from 36c to 33c in the last half hour. West of that, temps are down to mid-20's.

The Merseyside stations are stable at 36c for now, but will begin their decline; Manchester may squeak a 37c but it'll have to be quick.

Ah well, it's been a blast! (of furnace-like air)

Let's see what you guys further east can get to (hope somewhere takes the record off Heathrow!!)

Any word on data delays?

Gusty winds here.
We were derailed slightly by an area of high cloud that back-built annoyingly but now moved away.
37.1c now and climbing. So we have reached the 1990 national record. How long before the "cooler air arrives? Potentially another half an hour only here.

It's all relative. Walking inside the house after being in the garden for a couple of minutes feels so cool !

Want to experience hot house and to get a record indoors as well.  35C was the highest in 2003 now kitchen 37C as it facing the south and the hot air from the alleyway enter here by the door.  Just enjoy yourself and don't worry about me.  I have my own life.

Holding steady at 34.3 C after a peak of 35.1 C at 1.20 pm. Needless to say, I don't miss my old tomato greenhouse working days but is 32.0 C in my famed west facing hobby room even with curtains closed and a fan on.

Although hot, no where nears as hot as the 39 i reached yesterday. The wind is up meaning theres a breeze getting through the house. Yesterday the heat seemed to lock in place.

Considering ive got covid currently and locked in my bedroom you can understand how nasty that was...

It's 33C here but much more humid it would seem than inland hit area's. One local station has a dp now of 17.7C which is higher than it was a couple of hours ago!!

I think the approaching front is boosting the humidity.

Quick look at multiple other stations including official ones and would seem that Dp. Are widely in the 15-20C down along the Hampshire, IOW, and Dorset coastlines.
