In complete contrast to yesterday, today has started off on a wet and miserable note here in Edinburgh.
Last night was milder than the previous night but with a raw easterly wind coming straight in from off the North Sea.
Indeed, I would imagine that our fellow members in the south of Edinburgh (Jerry and Noodle Doodle) will no doubt be wishing that we were about three months further on just now than where we are because if we were, this may well have been quite a decent snow event with this sort of setup in those higher and more inland parts, possibly including the south of Edinburgh (that would probably have been less likely to have been the case here in NW Edinburgh due to the North Sea being relatively warm at that time of year).
Currently around 9°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
