The initial burst last night, with moderate snow intensity, put a good cm or so on all surfaces. Once the intensity dropped, the covering on paved/tarmacked areas began to melt, which was completed by a period of sleety rain. Although this turned back to snow and got a bit heavier again for a short while, we never got a covering back in roads/pavements.
We're left with about 2cm on grass, cars and the like.
This morning's snow has been too far south.
