Great result for my team that. Liverpool looked good early but I think we might have shaded the second half.

Man U could probably field a 2nd XI that would finnish in the top 8 !!

Epic fail by the Mirror. The following picture first appeared last night in a story linking Sagna to Spurs. Forget the non-story, the big question is who was it meant to be? The Mirror have since put in the correct pix.

Is it just me or other than Bolton, it's been a kind of slow start to the season so far?

Villas-Boas must be starting to worry about his position.

Soooo, Ferdinand out for 6 weeks, Raphael for 10 weeks and Vidic for two weeks. Oh, and not forgetting a dodgy goalkeeper to factor into the mix. Other than that, everything would appear tickety boo.

According to goonblog the Scum are only going to get £12.7m up front for Fibreglass - a second payment to be made in October. Which of course is about as useful as a chocolate firegaurd.

Gritty 3pts for Man U yesterday a very good first half perfomance followed by a relatively poor 2nd half albeit due to substitutions. Man U are the only top side (usual suspects) over the weekend to grind out a win. Injuries are a concern but there are enough replacements to fill in.... Evra, Evans, Smalling, Jones plus the other da silva lad.

Heard talk of a complicated merry-go-round of players at Spurs.

Lennon going to Citeh, with Adam Johnson moving the other way and Adebayor joining Spurs on loan.

Seems a strange one all round, that. Why don’t Citeh just sell Adebayor? I know his daft wages (£8m a year) are a stumbling block but surely it’d be in Citeh’s interest to knock, say, £5m or more off his ‘market value’ transfer fee in order to get him off their books. And Citeh are showing their short-termist approach by looking to offload Johnson.

Mancini, I note, is still driven by fear as yet again he employed three HMs. Expect more of this pathetic shite as the season progresses.

Also strong rumours that Kranjcar is to sign for Sunderland. If that materialises then it is a great buy for them. Shame for Spurs as Harry himself no doubt labelled him as a "top, top player" but then swiftly forgot about him.

He'll do well at Sunderland.

He would be a great addition to our squad, he does seem to drift a little in some games and can be a little bit of a luxury, but we have enough grafters and 100% men to afford a luxury or two.

Shower of shite  Arsenal vs Liverpool. Liverpool worthy of their win, which isn't really saying much. Way too early to spot trends for the rest of the season but based on this match neither side will end up in the top four.

Liverpool were pretty ordinary until Meireles and Suarez came on. Arsenal were simply ordinary.
