That must be why we continue to perform poorly in defence Jonesy, these lads may want to ask for DVD's of Terry Butcher in future ot better still, Franco Baresi............then the one goal that England do manage to score would be enought to win most games instead of the 3 or 4 we need now to guarentee success. (BTW, you should ask some Newcastle fans what they think of Steve Taylor before using him as your example, if he is modelling himself on JT he kind of proves my point)

Get yourself to SoL next season and the first one is on me.

BTW the England defence is not helped by the fact we never have a solid stable right back or right centre back, these positions have different players in them most of the time.

Chelsea shouldn't be too downhearted. I doubt the club could fill a 60,000 seater stadium anyway.

Maybe the Russian crook will eventually stump up some cash to make it worth everyones' while.

I'd like to see RA build his own stadium out of his deep pockets move the club there anyway and stick 2 fingers up at that lot owning the freehold with no club to play inside the stadium.

Clearly not the sharpest tool in the box (meaning he's quite stupid, and also a tool in his own penalty area, too)

Still no support for Terry (Sorry, I meant John) from Ferdinand. The only statement he's released is to thank his team mates for their support. Whatever happens now it's quite clear something is going on or he'd have just denied it straight away and cleared Terry  John

Who said arsenal are out of it! 5-3 winners in the end. What a game. Some amazing results so far in the PL this season and we only at the end of October..............long may it continue!

Manure sneaked a 1-0 win at everton too

So, by my reckoning Citeh should beat Chelski 16-3.

If we could go back to the riveting discussion about John Terry's defensive capabilities for a brief moment...hopefully after today's result that matter has been settled now.

If you've played football you'll know a slip can happen especially when a poor ball played back to you but to be fair the Chelsea defence was shocking, Atleast he had the bottle to play, he could of kept out of the limelight but just like the whole affair saga  he had the bottle to play and scored away at Burnley.

What I do know though is had the game stayed at 2-1 and Terry got the winner a few people would of been under there rocks tonight ...but that sums up footy banter and forums I guess

Look at that. A crap performance and a whalloping and all of a sudden he's back to 'Terry', again, not 'John'. Fickle fans 😂 👅

United beating Arsenal 8-2 and losing at home 1-6 to city and Arsenal beating Chelsea 5-3 away - this it what makes this a great league - anyone can beat anyone else home or away on their day - but title wise it is too predictable with 5 teams involved every year - united, city, chelsea and to a lesser extent liverpool and arsenal - no other team can ever win the premier league 100% guaranteed

Nothing is guaranteed.

What a strange PL season this is turning out to be. RA wanted attacking football, he got his wish today. Just a pity Chelsea have yet to buy any defenders (or produce any of there own)  At least we'll still finnish in the top four, unlike that paperweight club run by the bent bunger boy, Eh Mercy
