Have you read the report from the FA Nick? I don't dispute the fact you know your stuff when it comes to Spanish culture and language but the report shows they used language experts, previous unreleased video evidence etc. He was using the language in a hostile fashion and was unmistakenly using it in a derogatory term.

I really feel you are siding with the wrong party here.....

Liverpool will be so outraged by this that they won't just wear t-shirts to support Suarez in their next match, but full length outfits:

Stunning results for Blackburn and Aston Villa. I'm pleased for Steve Keen after all the abuse he's been getting from his own fans

2-3 it finishes. Amply illustrates Yoooonatted's lack of depth once key players are out.

If RVP gets injured RVP F.C. have big, big problems, unless they do some business this window. And I mean something more than simply a PR stunt by bringing Henry back to the Hemorrhoids.

Probably rely on him as much as the pretenders do on GB

Its all hyperthetical until he gets injured, apparently we were in all sorts of trouble selling Fabregas and Nasri, but we are in the Top 4..............where we were last year.

The question is how (and why) the powers that be at Arsenal have allowed the situation to develop as it has.

A quick question. Why, for example did Wenger buy Ballsucker when he could have gone for someone like Samba?  Perhaps he'll have second thoughts and make a serious attempt in this window.

I really cant remember the last time Arsenal signed a top top proven player..... Can anyone enlighten me ?

Apologies, I did miss your point completely

Dennis Bergkamp signed by Bruce Rioch was the last proven World Class player , memory fades me if there is another.

I , like many Arsenal fans don't understand why AW or the board don't splash out for 2 proven WC players, that is all they need IMO.

There is strong talk about signing Poldolski from Germany .

This morning he is looking at signing a CB on loan for the rest of the season.

Arsenal have a wage policy and won't break it , I have heard rumours that it's the board whp say NO to inflated wages and not Wenger,  Spurs have a similar policy  really, but  when Chelsea offer Modric 140k a week and 40 million he will be sold.

Not too sure what the Financial Fair Play rule will do...............................does anyone know?

Incredible game! What a goal as well - offside maybe, but he was half a yard offside for a few tenths of a second - very difficult as he crept back on a split second after the pass had been made. Martin Tyler pretty much climaxed when the goal went in LOL.

On a slight sidenote - I hate how the internet has created a new breed of football fans - the ones that spend their sad lives on their club's messageboard and slag off the players for 90 minutes. Tossers. Then again I'm spending my sad life reading it all!

Talk about a week is a long time in politics

Yesterday talk was about the disaster that was United's loss to Blackburn

Then City lose,

So yes more of a disaster today, for United the loss of 3 points, however

Tottenham's loss of 2 points I think was worse

But plenty to play for still..

Spurs    4pts  (2 away games)

Arsenal  4pts  (1 home, 1 away)

Utd        3pts  (2 home games)

City        1pt  (2 away games)

Chelsea   1pt  (2 home games)

I read somewhere (not sure if it's true) that five of the top 6 have played 10 games at home. Spurs have played 8.

Also worth noting that were the table based on form over the last 16 games Spurs would be top.

On current form we are about three points better off than both City and Utd but I can't recall over how many games that is (although it certainly excludes the first 2 games of the season - thankfully)!!!
