Spurs can't defend. Simple as. Adebayor has been poor so far, more of a liability today.

I see the blind think the goal by EA should have stood despite the obvious control by the arm. Good call ref!

What a waste, easily Spurs best striker, Defoe scores with his first effort now that he's allowed on the pitch!!

Well it does look as though Spurs have resorted to type, I guess Arsenal will finish above them, normal order will resume.

United are 'class'  because they can still win while being poor. And they were indeed poor today. It always helps when the Spurs defence start handing out early Christmas prezzies.

I think this could be the end of King now - two poor games on the trot. He's not mobile enough and doesn't seem to be able to marshal the other back three.

Liverpool are simply shit. Couple with the [censored]excuses that get wheeled out every time, they are simply a mid-table team to be honest. I did have a chuckle when the "plaudits" were saying Liverpool winning the Egg Cup would turn their season around, yep didn't it just. Same ole same ole, lots of possession can't score. I was pleased when Arsenal won, a Liverpool win would have simply papered over the cracks. Just like Benitez (and Houllier before him) Dalglish has squandered millions on shite players. It's been the story of Liverpool over the last ten or fifteen years.

Never mind, I'm sure many deluded Liverpool "fans" will be thinking that perhaps next season will be theirs

Whilst Carroll is certainly way below the quality required to make Liverpool a top four side, the performance Saturday morning from the team was excellent. Finishing aside, I think Liverpool are playing football a million miles away from the days of Hodgson and even Benitez. A first trophy in six years, despite how 'inferior' it may be in some eyes is still progress.

Fourth is a no go now for sure, and I think realistically was never on the cards this season (see previous posts). I hope however the owners do not go Abramovich on us and bring someone in for the new season as I think we are heading the right way, however deluded you may feel I am.

Van Persie was a joy to watch finishing wise and has been all season, and yes the game did have an almost inevitable outcome screaming at me from about the 5th minute but that does not take away an impressive performance from Liverpool, undermined by our powder puff front line and our love of imitiating woodpeckers.

21 woodwork hits this season does not strike me as a team not creating chances, a little bit of luck here and there (in fairness, maybe against Cardiff we got this) and we would have been easily top four. Now I know football is all about supporters and their 'what would have beens' but I for one will not sit back and let someone write 'Liverpool are simply shit' about the team I love, and especially when they are pertaining to be a supporter of the very same club. Get behind your team, support the players and manager or go and support Chelski.
