Well I ain't lying when I say that the upper sky is opaque and there is a lot of quite large Cu floating around (probably 70% cloud cover). Indeed if you zoom in on the MetO visible radar you can see it all as clearly as the disgracefully low resolution image allows.
Yesterday we went out for some al fresco dining and spent the evening chasing menus and napkins around as the wind whipped them up. It was pretty cloudy then and certainly not balmy.
Saturday was quite cloudy as well, and when we went out to a BBQ on Friday evening in Pudsey the sky was quite threatening. It was pleasantly warm at about 19C, but nothing 'special'.
Wednesday was cloudy all day.
We had one 'clear blue sky'day, and that was a week ago on Friday.
