Just back from the beach. Took this of the cell that developed new Poole. No sign of electrical activity. The cell seemed to pop up in-situ very quickly.

The clouds are moving from the south west to the north east.. but they're going very slowly. There are some clear anvils now to my north/ northeast, however there is a lot of higher cloud that is obscuring my view it is possibly an overhang from larger anvil. With my current position I do not have a clear view to my south or southwest.

Local torrential downpours to the SW of Oxford, down towards north Dorset also producing a fair bit of lighting.

A build up of cumulus just over and to the east of here.  If it develops it could move into north Kent / south Essex as a storm.
