Quite a significant change on today's MetO 30 dayer;

UK Outlook for Wednesday 18 Sep 2013 to Friday 27 Sep 2013:

The unsettled weather will continue through the rest of the working week with further showers, heaviest and most frequent across the north and east, with the best of the sunshine in the south and west. Windy with the risk of gales in the north and east, and temperatures below average. Through the weekend, remaining unsettled and windy with showers or periods of more prolonged rain and the risk of gales along exposed coasts, mainly in northwest. However, there will be some drier and brighter interludes. Temperatures recovering a little by day, but with some chilly dawns. Thereafter, probably remaining rather changeable with further spells of wet and windy weather at times, but with some drier and brighter interludes too. Temperatures near, or a little below, average.

UK Outlook for Saturday 28 Sep 2013 to Saturday 12 Oct 2013:

A rather changeable weather pattern is the most probable scenario through the remainder of September and into October with all areas of the country seeing some spells of rain or showers, with some drier and brighter days in between. Temperatures generally near, or occasionally a little above,the seasonal norm.

Today

Any early mist will slowly clear through the morning to leave a dry day with some sunny spells likely to develop through the afternoon, particularly to the north. Cloud likely to persist near the coasts. Feeling warm, light breeze.

The super failing continues:

Early mist didn't happen here, to leave a dry day didn't happen either as there was light rain, and some sunny spells likely to deveop though the afternoon which is very bad wording because they miss the point how the weather going to be during the morning in the first place?  Cloud over the coasts didn't happen as it stay well inland here 40miles from the nearest coast.

Early mist in my view is when you see clear skies above and mist layer above the ground and they often disappear asap the sun rise.
