Dull and overcast. Dry and feeling fairly mild at 17.7 C, especially what with winds being dead calm.

EDIT: 10.30 am. There's even light drizzle now.

Whew... subtropical out there after a warm and muggy night that bottomed out at 15.4°C.

Feels amazing outside even though it's only 16.7°C and with low cloud overhead. I'm seeing breaks in it though, and the satellite reveals that it's all melting away SE'ward so I'm hopeful of seeing some sunshine today.

The dew point is at an impressive 15.5°C and according to Netweather's 10 day summary today will feel like 29.8°C (how can they possibly be so precise about that?!).

19.5C here, it was very damp from the humid air without being exactly dewy, still dampness on surfaces out of the sun despite wind - and humidity at 71% is not that high.

Overcast. Quite mild, though, at 19.2 C. 90% humidity.

Seems that this cloud sheet is stuck fast over Kent as we are right under the centre of this high pressure system.

Yet again the weather forecast is wrong for the London area for Sunday currently 18 degrees dark overcast skies and no sign of the sun appearing. We were virtually promised sunny spells for today and we get unrelenting gloom!
I find it hard to fathom with the millions spent on forecasting that time and time again they seem to get it wrong especially with short term forecasts.....
I wouldnt be surprised if this benign gloomy weather continues in the same vein till conditions change later this coming week...
