I got the two front tyres done a few years ago, but I keep them on all year round. They dont seem to have worn down very much which is good

There are some figures to suggest winter tyres in Summer diminish fuel efficiency but compared with say dropping from a motorway cruise of 65mph from 75mph or not using the aircon it's not that significant a difference.

Darren Bett on 6.30 teased snow in the north next week. He used to be a mild ramper until 2010 though ;-)

Dream on, of course he will be right with regards next week, wintry/snow showers for more Northern areas and some lowish night temps and people will remember that bit

That is disturbingly likely Ben, which is why I like to have a reasonable handle on most issues and those I don't I can make an educated guess.
