Observations between 6.45 pm last night and 8 pm currently.
LAST NIGHT: Persistent and sometimes heavy rain and windy in the first half of the night, then it calmed down and the moon came out after 1 am.
THIS MORNING: Sunny spells and variable amounts of high cloud.
THIS AFTERNOON: Bright or clear intervals and scatterd showers.
CURRENT: Becoming cloudy. 8.1 C. 88% humidity. Dewpoint: 6.3 C. Moderate south west winds. Rising very rapidly to 1016.8 mb.
WINDS: Gale force south in the first half of last night, then moderate south west last night. It was mostly light west during the day but now becoming moderate south west again.
AIR QUALITY: Excellent, very clean and fresh.
VISIBILITY: Superb for most of the time.
COMFORT FACTOR: Rough and wet last night, calmer during the day and it even felt mild in the morning sunshine. Did get wet at times in the afternoon due to the scattered showers, as well as feeling cool and fresh.
