Liking the trends though Rob, change is on the way

Probably not what snow lovers really want to see, but those that are desperate for a dry spell now (of which I am one!) will be happy enough with the 240hr chart were it to verify. One step at a time I say.

Yep, trneds are good. And signs that the extreme cold is departing from the US and sitting to our north instead.

With a generous step towards a cold outlook - todays Ensembles should make for interesting reading,.

Interesting GFS run, although the pattern doesn't really stick around for long enough.

Could be being overly progressive in FI (not an unusual flaw) or could be picking up on the PV energy wandering about.

Still, encouraging signs and looking dryer too, which would be a pleasant change from the last few weeks

GFS being tugged towards ECM along with other models today. Trending the right way for collides, thats for sure.

Will it be a blip in the GFS and revert to zonal tomorrow?…. the roller-coaster has just had the dust sheets removed!!……...

I thought that earlier when I looked at this quite a change from gfs as to what it had been

Hells Bells, I don't know what to think. Op runs on all models now producing some chill, and with ensemble backing.

I can't quite believe it, to be honest and I still don't think it will verify.

If it does - Just remember - it all started in the strat way back in December :-)

And please - no more rain. Any precipitation needs to be locked up in snow and ice while the river thames that flows mere metres from my house goes down a bit.

A very wintry set of GEFS 12h Ensembles at 240h.Unfotunately by 360h the Atlantic has blown most away.

However chances  of some form of Scandi HP being established are growing and if it actually happens it may stay for longer than currently GFS is showing.
